Tracking for USA Shipments


Customers in the United States can view tracking information using the USPS Delivery Confirmation or UPS Tracking number provided in the shipment confirmation e-mail. Note that USPS Delivery Confirmation is not a reliable tracking service; information is often unavailable until the package has been delivered.

Tracking for International Shipments


Tracking information is only available with Express Mail International shipments! Tracking is not provided with USPS First Class International. The United States Postal Service (USPS) provides a "Customs ID" for these shipments. You will receive an automated email from us with this customs number, which will allow you to view package acceptance (proof of shipment) and a few tracking points in the United States. Tracking stops after the package departs the USA from an interntaional postal hub. Our nearest hubs are Las Vegas, Nv. No tracking will be reported beyond these points. Your country's postal service will not be able to track the package!

What is a Customs ID?

Non-trackable First Class packages have a customs ID in the form of LN#########US, LC#########US, or LJ#########US. These packages can be tracked within the United States only. After the package departs the nearest international postal hub, tracking stops. This is because the receiving country treats LN/LC/LJ customs ID barcodes as normal mail, which means they are not traceable and your post office will have no record of the package. Registered Mail changes the "L" in the customs ID to "R", "C", or "E". In summary, the first letter of a customs ID indicates:

  • L: Normal un-registered mail. No tracking.
  • R or C: Normal registered mail, trackable.
  • E: Express registered mail (EMS), trackable.

The last two letters of the barcode indicate the origin country (US = United States). This barcode format is an international standard to which all countries' postal systems adhere.

Also note that there is no barcode differentiation between First Class and Priority Mail International! Priority is about 1 day faster to depart from our international postal hub, but is treated as normal mail in the foreign country, just like First Class International.

How long does international shipping take?

Please see the shipping methods at the top of this page for delivery time estimates. The majority of First Class and Priority Mail International packages arrive within 1-4 weeks. Less than 5% take longer than 4 weeks.

*International customers are responsible for any customs fees and/or delays that may arise. Zulu Merch is not responsible for lost, uninsured packages. Most First Class International packages are delivered within 1-4 weeks, however, some packages have been delayed by an additional 2-6 weeks (over 95% of our First Class International shipments arrive in less than 4 weeks). To avoid delays, be sure to provide an accurate shipping address! A telephone number is also helpful, but not required.

**Shipping insurance can be added during checkout. This optional fee provides coverage in the event that your package is lost or damaged. Please note that our insurance provider requires that you wait 45 days before filing an insurance claim. Due to customs delays, delivery time is not gauranteed for any service.
